    Pros +

    • Great location 5-7 walks to kukusaidori. A lot of restaurants nearby. Convenientatore right next to the hotel.
    • The hotel staff were very friendly in trying to help me resolve an airline issue. One staff member in particular had remembered me and asked me the next day if things were resolved.
    • We loved the Japanese-inspired room with its cozy tatami floor — it made the stay feel authentic and relaxing. The big window and comfy sofa were perfect for unwinding after a long day out. The library was a lovely touch, and we even got a great café recommendation from one of the books there. We also appreciated the convenient laundry on the second floor and the self-service luggage lockers, which made our trip so much easier. We didn’t use the on-site parking, but parked at one of the paid carparks on the back street. There were several options nearby, and we had no trouble finding a spot except on Saturday night when the nearby nightclubs made the area busier. This was our second stay at an OMO5 hotel (our first was in Otsuka, Tokyo), and we were just as impressed this time around.

    Cons -

    • The room was quite small but expected in any Japanese hotel in a metro area. It was a bit difficult to open my luggage in the room.
    • The hosts wanted to charge more for the reservation. He said the reservation was only for 1 person per room … but my booking reservation said 2 bedrooms 4 people
    • Since we hadn’t booked breakfast in advance, we weren’t allowed to sit in the dining area. When we asked about alternatives, the staff only kept saying “no” without suggesting options — even though we later noticed some people enjoying their meals in the library on the second floor. A polite suggestion, like having breakfast in our room or the library, would have been much more helpful.

Loved the common spaces and you will want to utilize them because the rooms are tiny. Loved the pj’s and toiletries. LOVED THE LIVE OKINAWAN MUSIC. Staff was also a plus. Very accommodating and professional.

The family room was too small to even function. Japanese hotels are typically small but our room was just uncomfortable. If you have large luggage then good luck even opening it. Not for us.

The hotel is sooo downtown: 20min taxi to Naha Airport, 20min walking to the main commercial area, surrounded by restaurants and stores. It allows you to visit Naha main spots just by walking. The hotel itself is nice too, with an art hotel environment, fancily decorated. There are a laundry room and lockers on the 2nd floor, quite convenient for backpackers.

Please note you will need to pick up toothbrushes and sleeping clothes at the 1st floor before you get into the elevator.

The location was excellent and staff were very supportive, we received great services!!!It’s very clean. The convenience store is located just around the corner! The breakfast was good, was served quickly! The access to the Kokusai doori (The Main Street) is about 12-13 minutes on foot.

If you have a big suitcase, you might feel there is not enough space to keep it in a room.

10mn walk from all the main restaurant and shopping streetNice and new roomsNice view of the city ( we were on 15th floor)Sound proof room, we didn't hear the other guestsConvenient parking option

We missed a table, wardrobe a cupboard or some kind of space to put our luggage on. Felt small for 3 people.

Besides strategic location for both buses and Yui Rail, i really love their interior. Modern and Premium. They have library in 2nd floor which is super convenient for those who need to work like me without any noises. The hotel environment is good and they have alot of activities daily. It's pretty interesting. And thumb up for the room cleaning. I was staying there for 5 nights and their cleaning service were really efficient and clean.

A few staffs couldn't Speak English so they rarely introduce the good facilities and activities provided. Not a big issue. We can explore by ourselves. Overall is over satisfactory.

Staff was very friendly. Location is very central. Futility is new and clean. Price with very good value

The hotel has a laundry room that also comes with a microwave. There is a self-manage locker which customers can use for 24 hours.

The location is in the middle of 2 monorail stations so it takes 12-15 minutes walk to get the stations. There are hotels that are more conveniently located if you don't have a car. Also although the design of the room is modern, it is not comfortable and there is not enough table/storage space to use.

Very value for money hotel and it was a very comfortable stay. Cleanliness and service was top notch, and location was decent. Breakfast was amazing, I loved the french toast. Overall one of the best hotels I've stayed in Okinawa and was pleasantly surprised by the price.

The room is slightly small. It's an interesting room layout where you have to get through the toilet to get to the room. But I'm all up for new and interesting room layouts, didn't hinder the comfort level of my stay.

Overall a pleasurable experience, only issue was parking. If you are traveling in a large vehicle, you’ll have to reserve a parking spot first and drive back before 10pm.

    8JoannaPosted on: 7-30-2024

Free locker easy to use to put your luggage before check in, laundry facilities were also easy to use and efficient, breakfast was limited option but very nice and very filling, Location was really good.

Rooms were a bit small, not much space to open your suite case.

Good location, comfortable rooms, the hotel accommodated the last minute change of dates as well.

Modern and stylish hotel, good location and lots of eating options in the area. Friendly and helpful staff.

Room is no frills, no place to hang towels etc. bed is too soft. quite near the red light district at night.

Hotel conveniently located around main attractions and public transportation yet retain a feel of local neighbourhood. Coin laundry and free drinking water with carefully designed public space feel like home. Free tours hosted by hotel staff are fun to join.

English level of staff is lower than expected. Check-out time is a bit too early.

N/A Did have breakfast on location.

We booked this hotel for the bunk bed room. It was a joy for our little ones to go up and down and thats served the purpose well. We stayed one night on the last day of our trip and I would not have stayed longer if had to. Hotel is great just the space isn't designed for you to fully relaxed and enjoy the room as an adult. For a western tall adult there was no room to stand/ walk from one end to the other and therefore you were forced to seat down on a couch with no real back rest. Everytime you stand you have to be careful to not bump your head. I believe for people measuring under 1.70m they will be fine. During the night, if you have a third person sleeping on the convertible couch, they will have to be careful as well when then stand up in the dark. Also the landing of your front door is also where the sink is and where you come out of the shower. Essentially where you will have to change cause the shower room is fully wet once in use. Thats very unpractical and lack of privacy.
